UVIS-1P

An Under Vehicle Imaging System (UVIS) designed for use at industrial sites, exhibition sites, and other locations, to help protect facilities from threats concealed under vehicles such as cars, light goods vehicles, based on a car chassis, including small vans and SUVs. The camera in the survey unit provides an overlapping field of view, providing ‘see-around’ capability, in the direction of travel, as the camera images either side of the vehicle underside as it passes over.

The Static Under Vehicle Imaging System, used by law enforcement agencies amongst others, is a single camera system secured to the ground at checkpoints. It consists of the Survey Unit, the Control Unit and the Connecting Cable and has standard internal storage for a minimum of 25,000 car images – larger storage option available.

A portable UVIS consists of the Survey Unit, the Control Unit and the Connecting Cable. The Survey Unit is manufactured from a powder coated aluminium welded case, fitted with a stainless-steel sub-frame, designed to withstand ‘drive-over’ loads imparted by a 40T vehicle with typical 10T axles weight.

UVIS-4S

The UVIS-4S is the static version of the 4P, designed to image cars, light goods vehicles (based on a car chassis) including small vans. The unit is secured to the ground at checkpoints.

The NID Systems VXC-300 Series is a portal low-energy non-intrusive screening system with top-down imaging (plus side imaging with the DV variant) and an operating tunnel designed for scanning cars, vans and small buses.

UVIS-6P

The UVIS-6P is a portable system used by law enforcement agencies, and other organisations, to help protect facilities from threats or people concealed under vehicles. The five cameras in the survey unit are aligned to provide overlapping fields of view, providing a limited ‘see-around’ capability as the cameras image either side of the underside of the vehicle as it passes over.

UVIS-6S.jpg

UVIS-6S

A ‘surface- mounted’, static UVIS to help protect facilities from threats or people concealed under vehicles. Designed to image a wide variety of vehicles from cars to HGVs/trucks, including buses and coaches and secured to the ground at checkpoints.

High Temperature Environmental Control Unit.jpg

UVIS Temperature Control Unit

For use in higher temperature climates – a packaged water chiller consisting of water tubes/fins, heat exchanger, compressor, water circulation pump, buffer vessel and controls. The Environmental Control Unit is designed to provide a minimum passive cooling, allowing the UVIS to be operated up to peak temperatures circa +50°C.

UVIS ANPR/LPR Stand Mounted Camera

The UVIS-6P, 6S and 5F are supplied with an integral forward-looking camera, which images the front of the vehicle, and has an LPRAssist function to read licence plates. To replace the integral camera an option is a fully integrated letter/number licence plate recognition systems – the UVIS ANPR/LPR camera.
